My Background: I'm a native Lexingtonian and have loved my time here! After attending Henry Clay High School, I decided to stay here in Kentucky at Transylvania. I have always loved hiking with my dog, reading an assortment of novels, and exploring Lexington with my friends.
My Experience at Transylvania University: Being at Transylvania provides the best of all the worlds! Not only have I been able to reap the benefits of small classroom sizes and close relationships with professors, I also have access to more restaurants than I can dream of eating, huge performances and sports game, and a ton of internship opportunities.
The same classroom sizes have allowed my professors to get to know me better. It is because of their recommendations that I studied abroad both in Spain and in Israel. I have also had the opportunity to help with research, thanks to the work being done here on campus. To earn money to fund my restaurant habit (I love eating local and trying new foods), I have a job on campus. On the weekends, you can find me hiking with my friends or hanging out at Keeneland.
My Future Goals: I plan to attend graduate school in the field of Security Studies and International Water Policy. I hope to work in a think tank, an embassy, or the intelligence community working towards achieving conflict resolution through resource management. With any luck, I will also be continuing my world travels!
